We were a party of 8, and we had numerous options for June 2015…. It was the best 2 nights in our holiday. There were 2 shower points that did not run out of hot water (yes, this happened in a few other motels in NZ where we stayed), and the place was impeccably clean.

Our kids loved the place and the space. Not to mention, we took the Milford Sound tour with Fiordland Tours (which was another highlight of our holiday).

I would stay here again when I do come back!

We stayed in a three room cottage (Rata) during 3 nights and would have loved to stay another month.

A lovely cottage with comfortable bed, plenty of hot water, great WiFi access all set in trees.

It was a lovely place to stay with great hosts in Ray and Leonie. A short walk to the town with many different restaurants to choose from. This is a great base to do Milford Sound from, which we did with Ray who is a great host on the tour as well. Highly recommend both the cottage and the tour.

The cottages were absolutely gorgeous, impeccably clean, immaculately furbished, everything worked. Ray and Leonie are superb hosts who did everything they could to make our 2 night stay comfortable and enjoyable – even lighting the fire for us so when we arrived it was warm and cosy.

Neat tidy & a lit fire in our room each nlght was such a bonus. Ray & Leonie the hosts are a great source of information for travel and life experiences. Ray does a great tour to Milford Sound, that goes to some places that others don’t. Well done could highly recommend.
